Graduated in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science Degree and in 1989 from the Faculty of Law, both at the University of Calgary, and was called to the Alberta Bar in 1990. Since that time she has been an associate at Sugimoto & Company.

She practices in real estate law and mortgage financing along with wills.
