An experienced and effective family counsel, Anthony Young uses negotiation, mediation, arbitration, collaboration, and the court process, when necessary, to bring many cases to successful resolution and help clients move on with their lives.
Anthony was elected a Bencher of the Law Society of Alberta in 2009 and was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2010. He is presently Chair of Alberta Law Foundation and is a frequent contributor to Law Matters — a publication of the Canadian Bar Association.
He has contributed to the profession through organizations such as the University of Calgary, the Canadian Centre for Professional Legal Education, the Legal Education Society of Alberta and the Association of Women Lawyers.
Anthony was born and raised in Calgary and attended the University of Calgary where he received his Juris Doctor. Subsequently, he attended Osgoode Hall Law School at York University where he obtained his Master of Laws.
